From your first consultation to your daily aftercare, here's what to expect at every stage of your visit.

How should I prepare for my lash appointment?

Please arrive with clean lashes and no eye makeup, including mascara or eyeliner. Avoid applying heavy creams around your eyes before your visit.

What if I'm unsure which lash style to choose?

Your artist will help you select a look that complements your eye shape, natural lashes, and preferences. Inspiration photos are welcome.

Can I come in with extensions from another salon?

Yes. Book a foreign fill so your artist can assess your existing extensions. Depending on their condition and application, removal and a new set may be recommended.

What should I tell my artist before we begin?

Share any previous reactions to lash adhesive, eye sensitivities, or concerns about your natural lashes. Let us know what you loved, or would change, about previous lash sets.

What happens at the start of my appointment?

Your artist will discuss your desired look, assess your natural lashes, and recommend suitable lengths, curls, and fullness before beginning the application.

What should I expect during the service?

You'll recline with your eyes closed while your artist carefully applies your extensions. Keep your eyes closed until your artist tells you it is safe to open them.

Should lash application feel uncomfortable?

Your appointment should feel comfortable. Tell your artist immediately if you experience stinging, burning, pulling, or any discomfort so they can pause and assess the concern.

Can I relax or fall asleep?

Yes, many clients use their appointment to rest. We simply ask that you remain still and follow your artist's guidance throughout the service.

How long will my appointment take?

Timing varies by service and the condition of your existing lashes. Refer to the appointment duration shown when booking and reserve that time for your visit.

How should I care for my lashes?

Follow the instructions provided by your artist. Gently cleanse your lashes with an extension-safe cleanser, avoid rubbing or pulling, and brush them carefully with a clean lash wand.

When can I get my lashes wet?

Your artist will explain the appropriate timing based on the adhesive and products used during your appointment. Follow those instructions before showering, swimming, or exercising.

Can I wear makeup?

You can wear makeup, but choose products that are compatible with extensions and easy to remove gently. Avoid waterproof mascara and mechanical lash curlers.

When should I return for a fill?

Your artist will recommend a maintenance schedule based on your lash growth, retention, and preferred fullness. Booking your next fill before you leave helps secure your preferred appointment.

Is it normal to lose some extensions?

Some shedding is expected as your natural lashes grow and renew. If you notice an unusual amount of loss soon after your appointment, contact your studio so we can review your concerns.

How do I have my extensions removed?

Schedule a professional removal at Bonded Lash Bar. Avoid pulling, picking, or attempting to remove extensions yourself.
